Interpretive Marker

Andrew “Andy” Tribble Interpretive Marker.  A descendent of the Rev. Andrew Tribble was named after him in 1876 and became a famous vaudeville song and dance man in the 1920’s and 30’s in Chicago and Baltimore.  He and his brother Amos were born in Union City here in Madison County.  “Amos and Andy” became a famous radio and television show years later.  Please make a donation to help us remember this overlooked celebrity of our neighborhood:  “Friends of the Rose,” 2183 Boonesborough Road, Richmond, KY.  Your gift is tax deductible and your name will appear on the interpretive marker.  Our second marker will be to remember Union City native and internationally known artist William L. Hawkins.
